He was predeceased by: his parents, Aaron Overton and Grace Lawrence Overton; his wife Nancy Joanne Overton; and his sister Ann Overton Lanier. He is survived by: his son Jeff Overton (Melinda) of Apex; and his grandchildren, Tiffany Hales (Zac) of Raleigh and Kyle Overton of Fuquay-Varina.
