She is survived by: her children, Kay Hockaday Van Asch (Neil) of Oakboro, NC, Don Hockaday (Kelly) of Benson, NC and Bob Hockaday (Jaye) of Chapel Hill, NC; her grandchildren, Brooke Rigsbee (Mark) of Fuquay-Varina, NC, Sarah Hockaday of Durham, NC, Eric Van Asch of Raleigh, NC and Kevin Van Asch of Asheville, NC; her great grandchildren, Cody Poythress, Riley Poythress and Harper Rigsbee of Fuquay-Varina, NC.; and her strong Christian.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Good Hope Baptist Church (6628 Good Hope Church Rd, Cary, NC 27519).
