He was predeceased by: his daughter Caroline; his granddaughter Cecilia Kulinski; his parents, Ezra Wilkins and Leone Wilkins of Clayton; and his sisters, Arlene Moody, Diane Johnson and Marlene Rose.
He is survived by: his wife Billie Sherrill Wilkins; his daughter Kelly Kulinski; his son-in-law Pete Kulinski; his son Cliff Wilkins; his daughter-in-law Rebecca Wilkins; his grandchildren, Olivia Kulinski (Alyssa), Colby Kulinski (Bianca) and Connor Wilkins; and his siblings, Brooks Wilkins, Sue McCafferty and Judy Brewer.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Brown-Wynne Funeral Home (200 SE Maynard Rd, Cary, NC 27511). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Shriner's Children's Hospital in Greenville, South Carolina in Cecil's name.
