She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Scarboro and Caroline Tighe; her husband Phillip Messer; and her sister Wendy Scarboro. She is survived by: her children, Derrick and Kristie Messer; her grandchildren, Justin and Ashley Messer; her brother Mike Scarboro; and her pets, Chewbacca and Buster.
