He is survived by: his wife Betsy Kain (Low); his son Richard Codman Kain; his daughter-in-law Erica Kain (Kohnke) of Sewickley, PA; his granddaughters, Amelia, Genevieve and Caroline; his daughter Clare Meriwether Putnam (Kain); his son-in-law Wayne Putnam of Garner, NC; his grandchildren, Ryan and Dillon; his siblings, Richard Yerkes Kain and Constance Milner (Kain); and his siblings' children, Helen, Susan, Louise and David. He is also survived by cousins; and many friends.
