He was predeceased by: his parents, Lena Rogers and Robert Rogers; and his siblings, Franklin (Alice), Calvin and Norma Jean.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Lewis; and his children, Nancy Cifani (Tony) of Greensboro, NC, Carol Gendell (Marc) of Atlanta, GA, Jim (Kathy) of Cary, NC. and Emmon.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Glenaire Skilled Nursing Facility.
