Faylene Morgan Roper Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Faylene Morgan Roper of Cary, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 10, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Faylene may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Maggie Morgan and Herbert Morgan; her husband James Wilton Roper; her sons, Gregory Dale Roper, Timothy Lee Raper and Danny Wilton Raper; and her granddaughter Shannon Parkes.
She is survived by: her children, Dianne, Allen, Gary and Kevin.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Montlawn Funeral Home Chapel (2911 S Wilmington St, Raleigh, NC 27603).
