Fred Alan Bays Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Fred Alan Bays (Cary, North Carolina), who passed away on January 27, 2026 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Fred leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Fred may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.

He was predeceased by: his parents, W. G. Bays and Kathleen Cordelia Lawson Bays; his brothers, W. G. Bays Jr., Robert Bays and O. J. Bays; his brother-in-law Robert Massie; Beth Bays.

He is survived by: his wife Teressa Bays; and his siblings, Becky Bays, Coy Bays and Scott Bays (Marsha). He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
