It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Franklin Newsom of Cary, North Carolina, who passed away on May 30, 2026, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Roscoe Newsom (Rock) and Barbara Newsom (Bobbye); his brother Sam; his daughters, Tammye Newsom and Stacey Sheridan; and his grandchildren, Trevor Behar and Madison Holley.
