She is survived by: her daughter Margit Iwanowicz (Ed) of Chapel Hill, NC; her grandson Peter (Madeline Dubner); her great grandchild Nolan of Newton, MA; her grandchildren, Andrew Iwanowicz (Eleanor Sibal) of Raleigh, NC and Kaitlyn Iwanowicz of Watertown, MA; her children, Michael W. Hecken of Pittsboro, NC and Gabriele Bauman (John) of Cary, NC; and her grandchildren, Jessica Bauman and Cayla Bauman of Cary, NC..
