He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Skip Best and Charlotte Best; his children, Todd of Buffalo, NY, Laurie of Craftsbury, VT, Jim of Brooklyn, NY and Heather of Greensboro, NC; his brother David; his wife Gretchen Squires; and his sister Martha. He was also cherished by his 13 grandchildren; his 9 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial gifts to Cornerstone Presbyterian Church and the V Foundation.
