She was predeceased by: her parents, Murphy J. Barnette and Ruth W. Barnette; her husband Wallace Gregg Dickson; and her sister Alida Barnette Baker. She is survived by: her stepsons, Blake Dickson (Luanne) of Greensboro, NC and Gregg Dickson of Burlington, NC; her niece Martha Eggleston of Cary, NC; and her stepgrandchildren, Stephen Dickson, Lisa Curtis (Tony) and Slone Dickson.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Raleigh Memorial Park (7501 Glenwood Ave, Raleigh, NC 27612).
