She is survived by: her son Bill Massengill (Debbie) of Elgin, Illinois; her stepson Chuck Hill (Denise) of Greensboro; her sister Dannie Susan Daniels of Kinston; her grandchildren, Anna Bauer (Graham) of Elmhurst, Illinois, Steven Massengill (Raya) of Zionsville, Indiana, Foster Massengill (Savannah) of Charlotte and Danae Massengill (Emmu Wakai) of Denver, Colorado; and her stepgrandchildren, Adam Hill (Taylor) and Carly Carrillo (Alex). She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Brown-Wynne Funeral Home (200 SE Maynard Rd, Cary, NC 27511). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Westwood Baptist Church (200 Westhigh St, Cary, NC 27513).
