He was predeceased by: his parents, Sarah B. Rhoads (Rudisill) and Herbert E. Rhoads. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Y. Rhoads; his children, Christine Kastner (Robert) of Cary, NC and David Rhoads (Annette) of Chantilly, VA; his grandchildren, Laura Kastner Biggs (Ian), Brian Kastner (Jung Lee), Nicole Rhoads, Megan Rhoads-Bobbitt (Abraham) and Jeffrey Rhoads; his great grandchildren, Blair Biggs and William Biggs; and his sister Lydia Harry (Earl Powell).
