He was predeceased by: his parents, John Eugene Popovich and Agnes Genieve Popovich (Markovich). He is survived by: his wife Mafalda "Mafi" Haydee Popovich; his children, Mark Conrad Popovich (LuAnn) and Nicole Marie Popovich (Daniel); his grandchildren, Alexander Conrad Popovich, Caitlyn Brianna Bunch (Tyler) and Camryn Jaye Delosreyes (Alexia); his great grandchildren, Ryder and Bryer Bunch; his sister Jane Ortiz; and his nephew Jason Ortiz.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Wake Funeral and Cremation Services (7002 Green Hope School Rd, Cary, NC 27519).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations in John's name be sent to Saint Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church in Apex, North Carolina.
