She was predeceased by: her parents, Jamie and Whitie; her husband Paul; her son Vernon; and her grandson Keegan.
She is survived by: her daughter Phyllis (Don); her grandchildren, Brian (Katie), David, Carla (Anthony), Lauren and Jason; her nephew Cameron Cox (Penny); her daughter-in-law Courtney Bixler; and her friends, Carolyn Dewar, Sydna Martin and Karen Seymour. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the First Cary United Methodist Church (117 S Academy St, Cary, NC 27511). A committal service was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Hillcrest Cemetery (608 Page St, Cary, NC 27511).
To honor her beautiful life, the family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Wesleyan Circle of First United Methodist Church (117 S. Academy St. Cary, NC 27511) or to NeighborUp (formerly Dorcas Ministries; 187 High House Rd. Cary, NC 27511).
