With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leon Kirkland Semke of Cary, North Carolina, born in Washougal, Washington, who passed away on May 21, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Semke and Pearl Semke. He is survived by: his wife Lois Nowak Semke of Cary, NC; his children, Scott (Jean Anne) of Winston-Salem, NC, Todd (Stephanie) of Raleigh, NC and Lynn (Eric) of Wilmington, NC.; his sister Sue Fox of Washougal; his nephew Chris Fox of Brooklyn, NY; his grandchildren, Sarah, Daniel, Hannah, Ryan, Grant, Carrie, Jared, Jack and Erin; and his great grandchildren, Lucy and Caroline.
