She is survived by: her husband Ronald York of Cary; her children, Robert Ferree IV (Kaye) of Summerfield, NC and Kathryn Skeen (Mark) of Florence, SC; her stepson Michael York (Jill) of Raleigh; her grandchildren, Daniel Ferree, Meredith Ferree, Abbie Schelble (Chase) of Charleston, SC, Noah Skeen (Sierra) of Inman, SC, Ella Skeen and Emory York; her great grandchild Blair Skeen; and her siblings, Eleanor Gow of Harrisburg, Beth Truelove (Gerald) of Chapel Hill, James Squires (Beth) of Charlotte and Jane Hollar (Bill) of Charlotte.
