We are sad to announce that on September 15, 2025, at the age of 76, Mary Ann DiGrande (Cary, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Pasquale Flamia and Antoinette Flamia (Ricci); her daughters, Laura DiGrande (John Sabatini) of Cary, NC, Donna DiGrande (Jason Bailey) of Savannah, GA and Barbara DiGrande Kreitzer (Peter Kreitzer) of Apex, NC.; her grandchildren, Nathaniel Kappes, Andrew Kappes, Carina Sabatini, Matteo Sabatini and Mason Kreitzer; her husband Tommy Salese; and her former husband Carmine DiGrande.
In honor of Mary Ann's generous spirit, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital—reflecting her monthly tradition of giving in thanks for the health and happiness of her grandchildren—or to the Hospice House in Cary, NC.
