She was predeceased by: her mother Rosie Alexander Bynum; and her sister Linda Allen. She is survived by: her children, Edward Hunter (Kim) of Camden, NC and Ursula Hunter Polo (Paul) of Morrisville, NC; her grandchildren, Charnel Hunter, Marcel Hunter, Jordan Hunter and Kyle Polo; and her siblings, Ralph Riley (Sandy) of Charlotte, NC, Sonia Barbre (Byron) of Winston-Salem, NC, Debra P. Walton (Stephfon) of Cary, NC, Shermaletha Watson (Stephen) of DeSota, El Kieber Brown of Opelousas, Lenny Robinson of Lansing, Kim Alexander of Seattle and Conshelia Alexander. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
