She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Ward and Alice Weaver Ward. She is survived by: her husband Wayne Phillips; her son Reed Phillips (Rachel Jones Phillips); and her grandsons, Graham Phillips (Katie Mishoe Phillips), Weston Phillips (Laura Thompson Phillips) and Barrett Phillips (Kristen Gillis Phillips). She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at 4000 Glenaire Cir, Cary, NC 27511.
