She was predeceased by: her parents, Leander Clarence and Willie Alice Stedman Williams; and her husband Ernest Watson Sauls. She is survived by: her son Barry Sauls of Boone; her grandsons, August and Sterling Sauls; and her sister-in-law Estelle Sauls Mitchell of Apex. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
