He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Jacob Best Jr. and Meta Conally Best (Duane). He is survived by: his brother Samuel Best (Ginger) of High Point, NC; his sons, Mark Best (Karin) of Savannah, GA and Bradley Best of Raleigh, NC; and his grandchildren, Jacob Best (Maggie) of Fort Bragg, NC and Bennett Best of Savannah, GA.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 13th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Glenaire (6000 Glenview Gdn Pl, Cary, NC 27511). A reception will be held on Friday, November 13th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
