It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Freeman Balliet in Cary, North Carolina, who passed away on August 14, 2025, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gloria Balliet and Milton Balliet. He is survived by: his wife Gayle Lemly Balliet; his children, Brianna Molyneaux (Jeff), Matthew Balliet (Megan) and Jonathan Balliet; his grandchildren, Madison, Hayes, Julian and Elizabeth; and his siblings, Vickie Pasternack (Jim) and Calvin Balliet (Genine).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Tom's honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and/or ASPCA.
