It is with sadness that the passing of William Charles Corey (Cary, North Carolina) is shared. William, born on September 25, 1926, passed away on July 18, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
William will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor William by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary (Earle Corey) and NJ. He is survived by: his wife Sallie Burns Corey; and his children, Kitley Rainwater of La Plata, MD, Charles Corey of Ootlewah, TN, Taylor Corey of Cary, NC and Geoffrey Corey of Fuquay, NC. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.
