We bid farewell to Anne Greene Cook (Casar, North Carolina), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 12, 2025 at the age of 83. Anne touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jasper Greene and Zola Greene; and her brother Hal Stuart Greene. She is survived by: her husband Jimmy T. Cook; her children, Jennifer Aberly (Mark) of Mint Hill, Brian Cook (Cindy) of Shelby and Elizabeth Sanders (Ben) of Casar; her grandchildren, Marlyn White (Alex) of Casar, Macy Gordon (Alex) of Shelby, Brittney Cook of Cherryville, Brayden Cook of Sanford, NC, Noah Sanders of Rockwood, TN, Isaac Sanders of Hertford, NC and Clayton Cook of Shelby; her stepgrandchildren, Austin Aberly (Taylor) of Charlotte, NC, Dallas Aberly (Victoria) of Birmingham, AL and Ashleigh Kiker (Jake) of Oakboro, NC.; her great grandchildren, Madelyn White, Marc James Maio, Daniel White, Elliott Gordon and Kipton Gordon; and her caregiver Loretta Shull. She is also survived by numerous cousins, her church family, and a community of friends.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery (6101 Ward Gap Rd, Casar, NC 28020). A reception will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 5:00 PM.
