She was predeceased by: her parents, Pete Mull and Essie Costner Mull; her husband Earl Mellon; her son Randy Mellon; and her siblings, Doris Ann McCurry, Elaine Shoup, Earl Mull, Robert Mull, Wayne Mull and Walter Mull.
She is survived by: her goddaughter April Costner (Jason); her grandchildren, Lara, Leslie, Lucas Wellmon and Paden Costner; her daughter-in-law Wanda Ward; her sisters, Pat Carpenter of Cherryville, Marlene Parker of Casar and Jeanette Canipe of Belwood; and her sisters-in-law, Ellie Mull of Fallston and Brenda Mellon of Shelby. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
