She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas Hastings; her parents, Ambrose Grigg and Ila Grigg; her siblings, Clarence Grigg (Sue), Clyde Grigg, Carris Grigg and Earsie Wood (Don); and her brother-in-law Larry Harmon.
She is survived by: her daughter Brenda Lauer (Shawn); her grandsons, Austin Lauer (Tabitha) and Dallas Lauer (Kennedy); her great grandchildren, Parker Betts and Taylor Lauer; her sisters, Helen Rayfield and Ola Harmon; and her sister-in-law Reba Grigg.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Second Baptist Church of Cherryville, "Youth Fund".
