It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred Wright Brackett of Casar, North Carolina, who passed away on September 12, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bryson McKinley Wright and Ruby Mae Hoyle Wright; her husband Phillip Andrew Brackett; her daughter-in-law Angela Poole; and her siblings, Ray Wright, Alan Wright, Bryson Wright, Jr., Kenneth Wright and Catherine Towery.
She is survived by: her children, Sandra Mosteller (Scotty) of Casar, Johnny Poole of Casar and Vickie DuJardin (Donald) of Shelby; her stepsons, Glenn Brackett (Teresa) of Casar and Gary Brackett of Casar; her grandchildren, Luke Brackett, Skylar Mosteller, Stormy Mosteller (Hannah), Summer Williams (Adam), Sarah McPeters (Garrett), Matthew Poole (Skyler), Emily Poole, Keith DuJardin and Aimee Edwards (Jeremy); and her siblings, Harold Wright of Morganton, Steve Wright of Casar, Randy Wright of Casar, Pauline Wright of Casar, Barbara Rhyne of Vale, Gail Buff of Boiling Springs and Lisa Hudson of Connelly Springs. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
