She was predeceased by : her parents, Tom George and Helena Battle; her husband Samuel Person, Sr.; and her daughters, Maggie M. Webb and Brenda M. Williams.

She is survived by : her children, Samuel Person, Jr. (Deloris) of Zebulon, NC, Harvey Person (Cynthia) of Castalia, NC, Arthur Person (Sonja) of Castalia, NC, Linwood Person (Missy) of Castalia, NC, Troy Davis (Jimi) of Louisburg, NC, Gregory Person (Danita) of Castalia, NC, Jeffrey Person (Dorothy) of Castalia, NC, Ruth Richardson (Michael) of Castalia, NC, Alice Faye Smith (Anthony) of Clayton, NC, Joyce Hooker (Zochary) of Middlesex, NC and Tarra Person Lewis of Castalia, NC; her siblings, John Arthur Battle, Barbara Jordan and Mary Ann Alston; and her sisters-in-law, Sallie Person and Doretha Person. She is also survived by fifty-six grandchildren; seventy-one great grandchildren; twelve great great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
