He is survived by : his children, Christina Pierce of Rocky Mount and William Halcomb of Alpharetta, GA; his mother Clara Hilliard Pierce of Laurens, SC; his sister Pamela Pierce-Moye' (James) of Ware Shoals, SC; his nephew Willie James Moye' of Ware Shoals, SC; and his niece Mercedes Moye' of Greenville, SC. He is also survived by seven aunts; one uncle;a host of other relatives and friends.
