Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Cathy Diane Shipman of Castle Hayne, North Carolina, who passed away at the age of 64, on June 23, 2025. She was predeceased by: her father Lawrence Richard Holden; and her brother William Bobby Holden. She is survived by: her mother Pearl Bellerose; her husband Michael Shipman; her son David Holden (Ashlee); her grandchildren, Ava Holden, Seth and Noah; her siblings, Debbie Caldwell (Charlie), Terry Railey (Tracy), Glen "Buddy" Holden, Michael Holden and Billy Holden; and her nieces and nephews, Jessie Wells, Kristen Slater, Jonathon Slater and Christopher Christensen.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hope Recovery Church (3403 Winston Blvd, Wilmington, NC 28403). A burial will be held on Saturday, July 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Greenlawn Memorial Park (1311 Shipyard Blvd, Wilmington, NC 28412).
