With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donna Ruth Daly of Castle Hayne, North Carolina, who passed away on June 9, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Donna Ruth departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Donna Ruth. Though Donna Ruth may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her husband Alvin Odell Daly; and her brother Benny Pope. She is survived by: her sisters, Gayle Cartrette and Pamela Benton. She is also survived by children, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Wrightsboro Baptist Church (2736 Castle Hayne Rd, Wilmington, NC 28401). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
