He was predeceased by: his parents, Earle Hart Sr. and Winnifred Gosline Hart; and his sister Bernice Hart Smith. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Copes; his children, Karen Cook (John) and Jonathan Hart (Lisa); and his brother Craig W. Hart of Baltimore, MD.. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the All Saints Antiochian Orthodox Church (520 Buck Jones Rd, Raleigh, NC 27606). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Saint Basil the Great Orthodox Church (4601 Blue Clay Rd, Castle Hayne, NC 28429).
In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to the All Saints Antiochian Orthodox Church in Raleigh, NC in honor of Earle's memory.
