He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Gabriel and Elaine Gabriel. He is survived by: his wife Judy Lowrance Gabriel; his sons, Eric Gabriel of Durham and Dr. Aron Gabriel (Mandy) of Conover/Spruce Pine; his sister Brenda Laney (Ned) of Maiden; and his grandsons, Wade Gabriel of Durham, Trysten and Layton Gabriel of Conover.
