It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dale Augustus Mills (Catawba, North Carolina), who passed away on November 29, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Augustus Mills and Nola Boston Mills; his former life partner Gaye Poovey Mills; his siblings, L. C. Mills, Gaynell Grant and Evelyn Ikerd; his brother-in-law Thomas Laney; and his grandson Chris Rea.
He is survived by : his wife Lynda Mills; and his children, Ronnie Mills (Cindy) of Mt. Holly, Wanda Campbell (Barry) of Sherrills Ford, Linda Rea (Roger) of Charlotte, Sandy Gray of Matthews, Debbie Drum (Jimmie) of Maiden, Diane Drum of Maiden and Karen Little (Gary) of Sherrills Ford. He is also survived by 29 Grandchildren; 7 Great-Grandchildren; 2 Great, Great-Grandchildren.
