He was predeceased by : his parents, Ernest William Hamby and Edna Mildred Isaac Hamby; and his wife Shelvie Jean Hoyle Hamby. He is survived by : his sons, Darrell L. Hamby Jr. (Sharon), Anthony Hamby and Douvhn Hamby (Jennifer Willix); his siblings, Bill, Ronnie, David Hamby, Barbara Letterman, Shirley Moses and Mary Kurzak; his grandchildren, Tyler (Carlee), Drew, Douvhn Jr., Megan, Lilly, Lorelai, Jakob, Libby Hamby and Ashley Childers; and his great grandchildren, Paislee Hamby, Ford Douglas, Lawton, Emma and Warner Childers.
