She is survived by : her husband Melvin Hargis; her sister Brenda Valentine of Conover; her nephew Mitchell Todd Valentine (Chellie) of Gastonia; her niece Stacy Valentine Pritchard of Claremont; and her great-nephews, Tanner Valentine, Evan Valentine and Luke Pritchard.
