We are sad to announce that, on December 27, 2025, at the age of 77, James Ray Crawford in Catawba, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though James may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those James touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jay Crawford and Clariene Bridges Crawford; his wife Joann Crawford; and his brother Tommy Crawford. He is survived by: his son Michael Crawford of Hickory; and his siblings, David Crawford (Teresa) of Shelby, Ronnie Crawford of Vale, Danny Crawford (Doreen) of Vale and Susan Edwards (Jay) of Browns Summit.
