He is survived by: his wife Patricia Alice Lester Clawson; his children, Anthony Clawson (Pam) of Claremont, Valerie Kaye Hedrick (Doug) of Catawba and Teresa Collius (Wade) of Claremont; his siblings, Thurman Clawson (Shirley) of Hickory, Will Clawson of Newton and Iva Lea Church of Davin, WV.; his grandchildren, Brooke Rowe (Brandon), David Hedrick, Dylan Hedrick, Logan Clawson, Derek Collius (Olivia), Megan Caudle (Landon) and Raven Stilwell (Brad Drum); his great grandchildren, Ariana, Karolina, Wynonna Collius, Carter, Nevaeh Caudle, Jonah Stilwell and Crystal Smith; and his friends, Derek Collius, Brandon Rowe, Logan Clawson, David Hedrick, Dylan Hedrick and Landon Caudle.
