She was predeceased by : her father Floyd "Shorty" Bumgarner; her former life partner Holbert Benjamin Franklin; her husband Jim Franklin Bailey; her children, Bobby Allen Franklin and Linda Gail Franklin; and her brother David Bumgarner.

She is survived by : her children, Ricky Dale Franklin of Taylorsville, Patty Kump of Conover and Teresa Franklin Starnes of ConoverSeven GrandchildrenSix; and her great grandchild Numerous. She is also survived by Numerous Nieces and Nephews.
