He is survived by : his wife Debra Robinson Shuford; his children, Alwanna Shuford (James), Elizabeth Shuford Clemmons of Hickory, LaShonda Reid (John) of Statesville and Christopher Robinson Hickory; his stepchildren, Rosie Robinson of Philadelphia, Angela Robinson of Philadelphia and Rafael Robinson of Philadelphia; and his siblings, Donald Shuford (Ruby) of Hickory, Pauline Shuford Ramseur of Hickory, Minister Agnes Shuford Boozer of Fayetteville, Michael Shuford (Kathleen) of Charlotte and Samuel Shuford Jr. (Mae Helen) of Hickory. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
