She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Mackie and Ruby Sigmon Mackie; her husband Larry Teague; and her brother Jerry Mackie. She is survived by: her son Derek Teague (Paula) of Catawba; her grandchildren, Lauren May (Kyle) of Winston-Salem and Jennifer Barrow (David) of Catawba; her great grandchildren, Jonah May, Graham May, Callie Barrow and Blair Barrow; and her sister-in-law Brenda Mackie of Catawba. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

The family requests that memorials be made to Mt Olive Lutheran Church, 2103 Mt Olive Church Rd, Newton, NC or to Carolina Caring, 3975 Robinson Road, Newton, NC 28658.
