He was predeceased by: his sister Rosa Ella Knox Tucker. He is survived by: his daughter Latisha Rippy of Hickory, NC.; and his siblings, Rosemarie Knox Glass (Shandy) of Atlanta, GA, Johnnie Glenn Knox (Sharon Keith) of Chicago, IL, Dora Mae Knox of Conover, NC, Byron Joseph Knox of Hickory, NC and Cynthia Knox Lipford (Anthony) of Granite Falls, NC.. He is also survived by 2 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
