It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Huffman Elliott of Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on May 16, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Shirley Huffman may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Shirley Huffman touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Roland Huffman and Alice Eades Huffman; her husband William "Hal" Elliott, Sr.; her son William "Bill" Hal Elliott, Jr.; her grandson Kyle Reece; and her siblings, David Lee Huffman, Jr. and Willie Mae Eades.
She is survived by: her daughter Terrie Reece (Jerry) of Maiden; and her grandchild Ashley Elliott Childers (Berl).
