He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Daniels Zhe and Evelyn Ruth Zhe (Pool). He is survived by: his wife Patricia (Clark); his son Michael Zhe (Lisa); his grandchildren, Tyler and Brennan of Newmarket, NH; his children, Michelle Zhe (Derek Ormond) of Indian Orchard, MA and Matthew Zhe (Nicole); his grandchildren, Emmie and Molly of Swansea, MA; his stepdaughter Kelly Sullivan (Jim); his children, Tayla and Travis of Douglas, MA; his stepdaughter Kim Clark (Josh Richards); and his children, Brittany and David Jr.. He is also survived by his extended family, friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Carolina Hurricanes Foundation (https://www.nhl.com), which strives to meet the health and educational needs of children, with a focus on underserved populations, and to strengthen youth hockey in the community.
