We announce the death of Raquel Liholt of Cedar Grove, North Carolina, who passed away on July 22, 2026, at the age of 93. She was predeceased by: her parents, Valentin Palacio and Nieves Menendez; her husband Tor Juan Liholt; and her daughter Karen Liholt. She is survived by: her family Winnie; her pets, Teddy, Holly, Maggie and Milo; her children, Sandra Liholt, Wendy Killeen (Mike Killeen) and Eric Liholt; her grandchildren, Angelina Raquel Pettignano, Alex, Matthew Killeen and Rachel Van Riper; and her great grandchild Adam Killeen.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, a cause that Raquel held near and dear to her heart.
