In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Bernice leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Bernice may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sadie Cliff and Yancey Cliff; her siblings, Melton and Peggy; and her son Teddy.
She is survived by: her children, Teresa Lengner (Rolf) of Chadbourn, Frank Ricketts (Anke) of Texas, Denise Ricketts of Chadbourn and Rodney Ricketts of Georgia; and her granddaughter Michelle Jamison (Mike) of Chadbourn. She is also survived by six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Bernice's Home (921 Jd Cartrette Rd, Chadbourn, NC 28431).
