He is survived by: his wife Norma Ann McCormick Williamson; his children, Paula Williamson Pridgen, Chris of Chadbourn, NC, Connie Williamson Ivey (Ernie) of Evergreen, NC, Shelly Williamson Lanier (Brent) of Lake Waccamaw, NC and David Wren Williamson (Amy) of Chadbourn, NC.; his grandchildren, Kristin Worley Simmons (Landon) of Clarendon, NC, Amber Worley Fuhr (Dustin) of Cerro Gordo, NC, Lakin Pridgen Jarvis (Grayson) of Fair Bluff, NC, Brenton Lanier of Dallas, Bennett Ivey (Kaitlyn) of Fair Bluff, NC, Anna Ty Ivey of Evergreen, NC, Olivia Lanier Holcomb (Brady) of Evergreen, NC and Lily Paige Williamson of Chadbourn, NC.; his great grandchildren, Adalynn Fuhr, Cullen Simmons, John Thomas Fuhr, Canyn Simmons, Copelan Simmons, Asher Jarvis and Tate Jarvis; and his sisters, Nellie Ruth Williamson Smith of Wilmington, NC. and Teddy Sue Williamson of Wilmington, NC.. He is also survived by great father to his children and likewise grandfather to his grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Williamson's Crossroads Baptist Church (4071 Princess Ann Rd, Chadbourn, NC 28431).
