Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Douglas leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Macon Douglas Shaw and Peggy Jean Duncan. He is survived by: his wife Ashleigh Shaw; his daughter Madeleine Shaw of Warner Robins, GA; his granddaughter Adeleine Vincent; his stepson Logan Nobles; and his mother-in-law Doris J. Simmons.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 6:45 PM at the Worthington Funeral Home (405 E Strawberry Blvd, Chadbourn, NC 28431). A celebration of life was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
